Amy Sinclair oversees the Yarmouth Farmers Market with support from 317 Main Community Music Center, the nonprofit host organization.
Amy spent more than 2 decades as a television journalist before making the transition to nonprofit work. She has served as Communications/Marketing Director for 317 Main Community Music Center in Yarmouth and at Fork Food Lab in Portland. She’s now self-employed, working with clients across Maine.
Amy has been interested in growing food and supporting farmers ever since she pulled her first beet from her grandfather’s large garden as a young child.
She’s a Master Gardener and helped launch both the Yarmouth Community Garden and the Garden Explorer Program. Amy serves on Yarmouth’s Economic Development Advisory Board.
Her favorite veggie is brussel sprouts. Snap peas are a close second.

Mat Murray is a senior at Yarmouth High School and has lived in Yarmouth their whole life. They have loved visiting the farmer’s market in previous summers and are looking forward to helping Amy run the market this year. Mat has worked at Mother of Purl Yarn Shop in Freeport for over four years helping customers with yarn and knitting projects. They are starting college this fall and planning to pursue a degree in biology or biochemistry. Their favorite vegetable is potatoes, but an honorable mention has to go to rhubarb for when it’s in pies or pastries.

Music Manager
