Food Assistance

While some YFM vendors accept SNAP benefits, the market as a whole does not. Instead, we provide $25 Food Vouchers for anyone 18+ who is in need of food assistance. The vouchers are available at the Yarmouth Food Pantry, at Yarmouth Community Services and at the Market Information Booth. They are recognized like cash and can be redeemed with any seasonal food vendor. (No food trucks.) Vendors are reimbursed in cash at the end of each market day.

The Food Voucher Program is funded through generous donations from The STK Foundation, Yarmouth Cares About Neighbors (YCAN), First Parish Congregational Church, Legacy Properties/Sotheby’s International, and Island Treasure Toys.
