About Us

The Yarmouth Farmers Market now has two locations. We set up outdoors at 1 Railroad Square at the Bickford Pavilion just off Main Street on Thursdays 3pm-6pm May through October. In November and December we move indoors to the Founder’s Hall at 317 Main Community Center. (317 Main is just a half block away and across the street from our outdoor location.)

We Offer…

Our market aims to provide a full market basket experience. Our vendors sell locally grown produce, dairy products, meat, oysters, eggs, pasta, breads, prepared foods, desserts, flowers, pickled products, jams, honey, maple syrup, craft beer & spirits, unique crafts and more. All of the products we offer are grown, made, fished, or foraged in Maine.

More Than a Market

Community

The Yarmouth Farmers Market connects people to fresh food and the people who grow it. It’s also a space where we connect to one another. On Thursday afternoons, the pavilion becomes a lively hub. Student and faculty musicians from 317 Main Community Music Center come across the street to perform for shoppers and families bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the free concerts. Groups of children and teens walk and bike down Main Street to enjoy a cold shave ice on a hot summer day. Friends and neighbors reconnect over a shared passion for vine-ripened tomatoes. Most weeks, the market has a food truck parked alongside to give families an extra dinner option.

Food For All

New in 2025: The Yarmouth Farmers Market will accept EBT cards. SNAP/EBT users will be able to stretch their dollars at the YFM - and other participating farmers markets - by earning Maine Harvest Bucks. Every SNAP dollar spent at the market generates another dollar that can be spent on produce. This allows SNAP benefits to go twice as far.

The Yarmouth Farmers Market also has a locally-funded food voucher program that was created in 2016 to reduce barriers to accessing fresh foods at the market. $25 vouchers can be picked up at the information booth at our market. Voucher customers must sign in and can use this benefit up to ten times during the season. Vouchers are used like cash at any food stall (no food trucks) and vendors are reimbursed at the end of each market day.
